Jahrhunderts und vereint in sich Zeugnisse der deutschen Siedlerbewegung bis hin zur Architektur der Moderne. Städtebauliche Akzente setzten u. a. Architekten wie Theodor Overhoff, Leopold Fischer, Adolf Loos, Leberecht Migge und Walter Gropius mit dem Bauhausgebäude und den Meisterhäusern, heute UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Die in der Siedlung beheimatete Auferstehungskirche beging 2005 ihr 75. Kirchweihjubiläum. Als die Siedlungskirche am 22. Februar 1930 geweiht wurde, ein Bau des Architekten Conradi, war sie nach der Kirche in Dessau-Kochstedt der 2. Kirchenneubau nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg. In der vorliegenden Jubiläumsschrift wird in fünf Beiträgen über die Entstehung der Siedlung berichtet, ihrer Pfarrer gedacht und an Menschen und Ereignisse erinnert, die das Gemeindeleben prägten.
